Yellowstone Canyon 02

$3,000.00

Size: 24 x 36 inches

A painting inspired by the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone Canyon. The intense blue sky above caps the layers of our Earth. Then the trees, the rocks, soil, and cliffs, and then the Yellowstone river carving it's way through. It's a painting depicting a cross section of an eternal system of creation and destruction that we humans have the privilege of walking about and marveling at.

My first bigger size painting. Painted with acrylics on a 3/4 inch poster board from The North Face where I sometimes work and covered with gesso.
