My photographic work takes place within the varied environments of the American West and beyond, focusing on abstracted form, structure, and surface, and on how time and the elements transform natural and built environments.
My paintings develop from my photographic work, extending the investigation through a more interpretive process. Often working from my own images, painting allows for a further exploration of form, surface, and transformation.
